Throughout history, cameras have been hugely developed and to this day, manufacturers are always looking at ways to go one step ahead to develop their cameras even further. I shall personally be using a 60D which was brand new as of the end of 2014. This displays that I will have a high quality image based on how recent this camera has been both made and developed. It is very high in quality in clarity which will put in a better stance compared to someone with an average digital camera. The 60D also has a sports mode, which is perfect as I am using said camera to take sporting images.
Observational photography and sports photography are the two main types of photography used within my magazine adverts. I shall combine both of these styles together in order to give off a professional and exciting style within my advert. I will use a similar image of either Jamie Lowry himself or one of his training sessions as an instrumental part of my advert.
In terms of observational photographers, I am personally a huge fan of Gillian Wearing and her series of quoted images. I like how a lot of her work features questions insides people mind but in ways are never asked. When studying GCSE Photography, I produced a series of my own images on her based on issues affecting my life and I still feel that to date, these photos turned to be a huge success.
The first of the two images in this post is an image of Raheem Sterling playing for England. I like this image as it shows a wide number of aspects of football and all of its connotations. It shows how that he is willing to put his body on the line and will fight for his country. It's gripping as it is an international game and you can tell the pure emotion and atmosphere via this singular image. I am fond of this image both as a whole and in terms of its representations.
My second image is similar to one that I shall more than likely be using. It is of Jamie Lowry who is the main focal point of my documentary. Here is him in his playing days at Plymouth Argyle. I might use this or something similar in my documentary to show clearly to the audience a true representation of him in his playing days. This will add emotion as well as a personal touch for him.
